Job Title: Strength and Conditioning Coach


Trinity High School is seeking applicants interested in serving as Strength and Conditioning Coach. Trinity High School is a large Catholic high school (grades 9-12) with 1,300 young men located in Louisville, Ky. Trinity has been recognized by the United States Department of Education as a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. The school receives tremendous support from its parents and alumni and is widely recognized as a leader in its various academic and athletic programs. This is a full-time position.

The successful candidate will join a team of nearly 250 dedicated teachers and staff members. Applicants should have at least a bachelor’s degree, three to five years of related work experience and certification/registration as part of the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) or similar organization. Experience working with youth across multiple sports and a combination of strength training and sports performance conditioning is preferred. Primary duties:

• Develop strength and conditioning programs for multiple athletic teams
• Ensure that all weight room equipment is properly cleaned and maintained and that safety is the top priority for all participants within the weight room
• Participate as a member of the Physical Education and Health Department
• Teach two physical education classes each day
• Maintain all professional certifications as directed by school administration

Job Title: School Receptionist

Task Orientation: The position is an hourly position which requires a candidate able to successfully “multitask” while being stationed at the reception desk within the Trinity rotunda, the sole entrance point for visitors to the school. 

The various tasks include answering the primary school telephone number and directing calls within the school organization structure, greeting and signing in school visitors, receiving mail and other packages from outside vendors and completion of other administrative tasks as assigned.
 
The position interfaces with faculty, staff, students, parents and visitors on a daily basis.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma is preferred.  A college degree would be a plus.

Other requirements:

• Previous work experience in a small to mid-sized organization
• Computer skills related to Word and e-mail software
• Ability to answer multiple telephone lines and handle the routing of telephone calls to other extensions
• Ability to greet and interact with visitors in a pleasant, positive and professional manner
• Ability to handle other administrative tasks as assigned
• Ability to communicate and interact effectively with all individuals within the organization structure and the larger school community
• Ability to understand, articulate and model the mission of Trinity High School
• A proven work record that demonstrates reliability and dependability

Duties

• Answer and route incoming telephone calls
• Greet, sign in and direct visitors
• Receive mail and packages from outside vendors
• Sort and distribute mail
• Log in and record checks and other materials
• Provide relief coverage to the Campus Store
• Other administrative tasks as assigned

Hours of Work

• This position is a full-time, year-round position
• Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Compensation and Benefits

• This position is an hourly position and eligible for overtime 
• Eligible for all employee benefits available to a full-time Trinity High School employee
