2016 Finish – State Quarterfinalist (Top 8)

Key Returning Players – Ian Karman (Senior), Ryan Donaldson (Senior), Theo Brainer (Senior), AJ Hawes (Senior), John Coleman (Junior), Dante Leonardi (Junior), Corey Vince (Sophomore) Kyle Donaldson (Sophomore), Will Epperson (Sophomore), Ryan Sheehy (Sophomore) & Tommy Krumm (Sophomore)

Key New Comers – Brent Padgett (Sophomore), & Brennan Dahlgren (Senior)

The Rocks return 5 of the 8 bowlers who were a lone spare shy of the Final Four at the KHSAA state tournament last year.  The squad has hopes that with six seniors leading the way, a deeper run is in store this year. Trinity returns Karman, Donaldson, Brainer, Coleman, & Hawes, all of whom played major roles last year. With the improvement of younger players from last year’s JV team, and with a newcomer sophomore in Brent Padgett, the Rocks look to be one of the deepest teams in the state. Trinity has put together a tough regular season schedule featuring defending regional champions Seneca, archrival St. Xavier, Christian Academy, Ballard, DeSales, & PRP. The JV team will also face Male, Jeffersontown, and Eastern. This season will also find the team competing in eight regular season tournaments to test their skill in a tournament atmosphere against teams from all over the state.

The Rocks will be without our longtime leader and coach, the late Joe Fowler ’71, for the first time in 15 years.  The team has Joe and his family in our hearts and have dedicated the season in his memory.
