Season Outlook-

The Cross Country Rocks have finished as KHSAA state runner up for two consecutive seasons.  The team looks to break through to the top step on the podium in 2018.  Coming off a state championship track season this past spring in which our distance runners dominated, the cross country squad has very positive momentum heading into the fall.

Given that the team graduated two very accomplished distance runners in the Class of 2017, they will be tested early, both at the Tiger Run in August, as well as at the prestigious Trinity Invitational in September.  Then, in early October, the varsity squad will travel to North Carolina to compete in the Great American Cross Country Festival. That event will test the Trinity runners against the best high school competition in the South.

The 2018 team has a strong blend of experienced leadership and ascending young talent. The hope is that depth on the roster will enable the Shamrocks to earn the coveted state championship come November.
