Students in African American History (T541) took a field trip to the Muhammad Ali Center on Tuesday, Nov. 29. There, they toured the temporary exhibit, “Race: Are We So Different,” as well as the permanent exhibits about Ali’s life and social activism.

After lunch, students walked around downtown, noting historical markers about Louisville’s slave trade and following part of the Louisville Downtown Civil Rights Trail.
