Catholic Schools Week

Teachers are the backbone of Catholic schools. Today is National Appreciation Day for Catholic School Teachers, which celebrates and honors over 152,000 Catholic school teachers who give time, energy and care to their students. The Catholic identity of the school resides within each member of the faculty.

A school is Catholic because the faculty models the message of the Gospel. A school is Catholic because the faculty integrates Gospel values into the content it teaches. A school is Catholic because the faculty challenges students to accept the call of the Gospel.

Fellow students—take a moment today to show your gratitude and say “thank you” to your teachers for their service and dedication as a Catholic school teacher. We are

Trinity: We learn. Serve. Lead. Succeed.
