Sophomore Porter Hunt was named eighth best speaker in Varsity Lincoln-Douglas Debate. Junior Mark Hughes anchored the team with a solid day in Varsity Lincoln-Douglas Debate. Hughes was named third best speaker and advanced through semi-finals before dropping on a 2-1 decision. Hughes placed third overall.
At the Danville Tournament of Firsts, senior Cooper Winrich (pictured above), who was recently named an Academic All-American, maintained his impressive winning streak in Congressional Debate. For the third tournament in a row, Winrich was named Tournament Champion.
