On November 26, members of Trinity High School’s German Club participated in the German Christmas Service at St. Matthews Baptist Church. The “Weihnachtsgottesdienst” takes place each year on the Sunday following Thanksgiving.
This is the thirteenth year for the service and the twelfth year that Trinity German Club members have participated, doing readings from the Old Testament in German. The sermon, songs, remembrances and Scripture readings are all in German, “just like in the old country.”
