Post-Season Outlook

Below is a summary of how things are looking for the POST-SEASON:

Baseball-

Coach Arnold and the Baseball Rocks currently sit with a 25 – 6 record after a thrilling come from behind win last night over top ranked PRP at TH Park. Trinity has two regular season games remaining and will begin the District tournament Monday at Seneca High School.

The Shamrocks are also well represented on the KHSAA state stats leaderboard:

– Senior Max Medley is top 20 in batting average;

– Senior Thomas King is top 15 with a 6 – 0 pitching record;

– Senior Ben Metzinger is top 15 in the following: Home runs, Slugging Percentage and Runs Scored.

Lacrosse-

Coach Schroeder and the Lacrosse Rocks have a 12 – 4 record and have advanced to the state semi-finals tonight at St. X at 8 p.m. vs. South Oldham. Should Trinity win tonight, we will play Friday night at St. X at 7 p.m. for the state championship trophy.

Tennis-

Coming off a Region tournament title, Coach Mather and the Tennis Rocks have advanced two singles (Jacob Bir, Cameron Strause) and two doubles teams (Brandon Chou/Michael Chou, Connor Garrison/Justin Lee) to state, beginning tomorrow at the University of Kentucky. Our doubles team of Brandon Chou/Michael Chou is seeded #1 in the state.

Track & Field-

Also coming off a Region title, Coach Holzknecht and the Track & Field Rocks compete Saturday for a state championship trophy at the University of Kentucky.

Trinity is seeded top 3 in the state in each of the following events:

4/100 – James Moore, Elijah Moore, Alex Wilson, David Spalding

4/200 – Alex Wilson, David Spalding, James Moore, Elijah Moore

4/800 – Jack Baum, Alex Cyterski, Nick Michels, Jacob Burnam

800 – Jacob Burnam

1600 – Trevor Warren

3200 – Trevor Warren

High Jump – Robbie Springfield
