The final House marquee of the second quarter is scheduled for this Friday night. The varsity basketball home opener versus Pulaski County will be the last opportunity this quarter to earn a point for your House. The varsity game begins at 7:30. Come out early and cheer on the freshman and JV Rocks as well. This game has also been declared a student ID game. All Trinity students will be admitted free with their ID. So there’s really no excuse for you not to be there.
The second quarter is a tight one. Romero leads Patrick by only four points and Dante by 15. And, you know how well those Houses do at marquees. Make plans to get to Steinhauser Gym on Friday to begin a championship year in basketball and then head down to Bowling Green on Saturday to close a championship year in football. Go Rocks!

Filming has just begun on Blade Runner 2049, the sequel to 1982’s landmark original Blade Runner starring Harrison Ford. The original is known for its groundbreaking visuals and merging of cyber-punk with a 1940’s film noir. On Thursday, Film Club will screen the original theatrical cut and then look at changes that were made by director Ridley Scott a decade later with his Director’s Cut. The changes, while small, lead to a new interpretation of the film. Members of the Science Fiction class are reminded that they can attend for extra credit.
