Future Problem Solving Camp

For Grades 6-8 (boys and girls) and Grades 9-12 (incoming and current Trinity students)

Dates:  June 11-15         9 a.m – 12 p.m

Registration is limited.

Cost:  $100 if registered by May 25; $110 if registered after May 25 ($15 discount per student for sibling registered)

This camp is a one-week enrichment program, designed by a state-placing Future Problem Solving (FPS) coach, to teach students the “”FUN”-damentals of the FPS process.  Students will work, step by step, through the FPS process learning how to brainstorm diverse obstacles and solutions, communicate cause-effect in writing, articulate a clear plan of action, and think into the future.  Regardless of one’s experience in FPS, this camp will provide students with essential problem solving skills that will serve them well throughout high school, college, and the rest of their lives. Any student attending this fun, engaging camp will also receive coaching from the team throughout the year if they later choose to compete at Governor’s Cup with Trinity’s FPS team.  All campers will be recognized with a certificate of completion.  Students who consider the FPS Camp might consider making a day of it by also registering for Trinity’s Quick Recall Camp.

Note:  Checks should be made out to Tim Jones and payment is due before the first day of camp. Checks can be mailed to Trinity High School, Attn: Tim Jones, 4011 Shelbyville Road, Louisville, KY 40207.
