Trinity students have a longstanding tradition of producing one of the finest student newspapers in the state of Kentucky.
The ECHO is annually at or near the top in every awards category in major journalistic competitions, having been named “Best in State” numerous times during the past 30 years. Graduates who were involved in the creation of the ECHO have continued journalistic careers in some of the country’s largest and most prestigious newspapers, as well as numerous other media outlets. Using state-of-the-art equipment, staff members learn newspaper fundamentals, write stories and take photos and video for posting almost daily.
