Aquinas House
The House motto for Aquinas House is consilio non impetus. The English translation, “by wisdom not by rashness,” reflects the virtues of our House patron, Saint Thomas Aquinas.
St. Thomas Aquinas came from a family of nobility and wealth in Italy. He could have chosen a life of pleasure; instead he dedicated his life to serving God. Aquinas was noted for his great wisdom. He wrote the Summa Theologica, a key document which helped to fashion the theological language of the Catholic Church.
The Aquinas House mascot is the knight. Our House colors of purple, white and black symbolize royalty, honesty and fearlessness.
Aquinas House won the House Cup in 2013 and 2014.
