$1 Dress Down Day – Thur., Nov. 17

Thursday, November 17, will be a $1 Dress Down Day for Water With Blessings.

Water With Blessings is a local organization that provides clean drinking water to developing countries by providing water filters that work using 5 gallon buckets and small filters. Women, called water women, receive the filters and are responsible providing water for their families and three other families. This not only provides clean drinking water, but it also empowers women in local communities.

Students can dress down for $1, or more, in jeans/khakis, a Trinity shirt/jacket/hoodie, and athletic/dress shoes. T-shirts must be tucked in. Money will be collected during advising.

Our last two dress down days raised:

  • $1,000 for Catholic Charities indigent burial program and headstones. That will purchase 50 headstones.

  • $900 for Catholic Relief Services and Hurricane Ian disaster relief
