’75 Alumnus Earns Yet Another Emmy

Trinity Hall of Fame member Steve Crump ’75 has won numerous awards for his work in the documentary world, but none are more meaningful than the Emmy he won recently as he battles cancer.

Crump was unable to attend the awards ceremony, where his cameraman accepted the Emmy for the pair’s work on “Orangeburg 50 Years Later.” The documentary was aired on the 50th anniversary of the Orangeburg Massacre in South Carolina, where three people were killed and 28 others wounded in a state police shooting during demonstrations that were taking place over desegregation.
