Today is the start of National Catholic Schools Week. We recognize and appreciate the priests, sisters and other religious men and women that have pioneered Catholic education, and we pray for the continued growth of vocations to the religious life and for all of us to answer God’s call to serve. There are over 6,200 Catholic elementary and secondary schools in the United States, educating nearly 1.9 million children and teenagers. Trinity is one piece of this big legacy of Catholic education.
