Don’t forget to get your tickets online at www.trinitydota.com for our Spring Musical Dirty Rotten Scoundrels! Running March 7-26
Based on the popular 1988 MGM film, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels takes us to the French Riviera and centers around two con men: the suave, sophisticated, and smooth-talking, Lawrence Jameson, who makes his lavish living by talking rich ladies out of their money and a small-time crook, Freddy Benson, who humbly swindles women by waking their compassion with fabricated stories about his grandmother’s failing health. After attempting to work together, they realize this small French town isn’t big enough for the two of them. They agree on a settlement: the first one to extract $50,000 from a young female heiress, Christine Colgate, wins and the other must leave town. Nominated for eleven Tony awards, this sophisticated, suave with a good dash of mischief, hysterical comedy features a delightfully jazzy score and a hilarious battle of cons that ensures the audience will keep laughing, humming, and guessing to the very end!

The Trinity academic team competed in the Governor’s Cup state tournament this past weekend.
Please congratulate Ried Fieldhouse! He was state runner-up in English Composition. This contest starts with over 650 students at the district level, with about 280 qualifying to advance to region and then the top 5 from each region advance to state. So out of the top 90 writers from their regions, Ried was top 2. Mr. Amick can say with certainty that no one at Trinity has placed this highly in State in English Comp in at least 15 years. Great job, Ried!
Also testing for the Rocks:
Krish Gupta was 20th in Arts & Humanities
Anthony Holder was 27th in Language Arts
Will Yorgy was 27th in Social Studies
John Kehdy was 34th in Science
Liam Amick was 35th in Arts & Humanities
Please congratulate all of these guys on qualifying for state and representing Trinity well.
The academic team now turns their attention to preparing NAQT Nationals in Atlanta over Memorial Day weekend.
