All Seniors who are going on Senior retreat #4 next week: there is a mandatory meeting today at 2:50, right after the senior dismissal bell, in the Chapel. This meeting will only last about 10 minutes and will tell you what to pack and other details for retreat. If you cannot attend, see Mrs. Emrich in Campus Ministry as soon as possible. Again, there is a meeting today in the Chapel for all seniors going on retreat.
The junior retreat (Harlan-Hughes) that was cancelled November 29 has been rescheduled for Wednesday, January 16. It will begin at 9 a.m., with return to school between 2:30-2:45.
Balfour senior assembly has been rescheduled for Monday during advising.

Congratulations to Dante House. The Phoenix earned this year’s third House Cup play-off spot by winning the second quarter with a total of 123 points. Dante won the second quarter video game tournament, the Rube Goldberg contest, and all three of the marquee events. Romero House came in second with 104 points and Gonzaga House with 102 points was third.
The championship game of the Freshman House Intramural Basketball League will take place Sunday. The game against Gonzaga House and Toussaint House will tip off at 4 p.m. in Shamrock Hall. Come watch the Gators and Monarchs battle it out and see who will be crowned this year’s Freshman House League champions.
The first marquee event of the third quarter will be next Wednesday’s wrestling dual meet against Male. The Rocks and Bulldogs will face off at 5 p.m. in Steinhauser Gym. The meet is also Senior Night. Members of the senior class will be recognized in a special ceremony just prior to the start of the meet. Those who sign in with Mr. Klein will earn double House points. The House with the highest total number of student and faculty attendees during this quarter’s three marquee events will receive a breakfast during its Feb. 25 or 26 House meeting. Make plans now to attend next Wednesday’s match to cheer on the Wrestling Rocks and help your House get an early lead in the race to earn the third quarter spot in the House Cup playoffs.

WWII: The Western Front & the Holocaust Tour
Are you ready to make meaningful real-life connections with the events of D-Day, the assault operations of 101st Airborne Division and the atrocities of the Holocaust? Come step back into history with me and your Trinity brothers.
In June of 2019, Trinity students will travel abroad to become living witnesses to the atrocities brought about during World War II and by the Nazi Party’s Final Solution. Students will have an opportunity to make real-life connections to events typically only studied in history books. Our history of WWII Western Front and the Holocaust tour will give students the opportunity to explore London, Portsmouth, Caen, Normandy, Rouen, Luxembourg City, Bastogne, Amsterdam, Hannover and Berlin as part of 14-day trek across Western Europe.

There will be a very important FBLA meeting on Monday in T318. This meeting is mandatory for all students who plan to compete in the FBLA regional conference events.
The 7th ACE mentoring class will be held today in Mr. CM’s room, F134, immediately after school, from 3 to 5 p.m. We will split up into teams and work on this year’s project, which is a Round-About and clock tower on Sherrin Ave.

Mr. Klein has the perfect solution for you. The Sophomore Dance will take place on Saturday, February 9 from 9 PM to midnight in Shamrock Gym. Tickets for the dance are $20 per couple and will go on sale on Tuesday, January 22. So over Christmas Break, not only can you make your special girl’s Christmas wish come true by asking her out to the Sophomore Dance, but you can also keep your New Year’s resolution by planning ahead now for the February dance.
