PICTURE DAY IS COMING for 9th 10th and 11th Grades!
Monday 10/26 & Thursday 10/29 for Green Day Math Classes
Tuesday 10/27 & Friday October 10/30 for White Day Math Classes
All students receive a basic packet of pictures, but they must have an order form and check if parents wish to purchase additional pictures. Order forms are available from your Math teacher. Underclassmen will be photographed during your math class.
Students should look sharp and are required to wear a shirt, tie and a sports coat for their picture.
Thursday, October 22 and Friday, October 23 will be a $1 Dress Down Day Benefitting One Tree Planted. Thursday, L-Z students can dress down with money being collected during advising and Friday, A-K students can dress down with money being collected during 4th block. One Tree Planted plants one tree for every dollar raised. Last year, they planted over 4 million trees. Students can dress down wearing jeans or khakis, any Trinity shirt, sweatshirt or hoodie tennis shoes or dress shoes. T-shirts must be tucked in. If you donate $1, you can dress down, but you can always donate more if you wish.

Mass is celebrated in our chapel here at Trinity at 7:20 a.m. every school day. Everyone is welcome! You don’t have to be Catholic. This mass usually lasts about twenty minutes. We try to make it a quiet, simple meditative, prayerful moment for us to begin our day.

The House Video Game Tournament will take place Today. If you would like to participate in the tournament, check your Trinity email for a message from Mr. Klein explaining how you can vote to help decide which game will be played in the tournament. The name of the winning game will be announced next Monday and Tuesday during Advising.

Are you interested in flying, airplanes, flight simulators and rockets? Then you may consider joining the Tim’s Flying Club. The club will meet every other week on Mondays and Fridays. Do you know that most stuff around us deals with electronics? Do you like to gain more insight into this subject, then sign up with Mr. CM by signing up with Remind. This club involves hands on activities like soldering, desoldering components, assembling small circuits for various applications and in the process learn some of the basics of electricity and electronics. The club will meet every other week on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 to 4 pm, in Room F332. The first club day will be communicated through Remind.

Did you have a really creative project for your Goodbye Days assignment? Are you just a creative person? If so, The Axiom wants your work! The Axiom is Trinity’s online arts magazine which features artwork, photography, written work, short film and music created by Trinity students and faculty. How can I submit my awesome picture, artwork, video, poem, short story and/or song to the Axiom? Just click on the Axiom icon on the trinity.rocks student page and follow the directions. This month, Mr. Seng will draw a name from all students who submit their work for a $25 giftcard to the merchant of your choice! Mr. Seng also needs students to be on the editorial board of the Axiom. Mr. Seng will take you out for a nice dinner at the end of the year. If interested in being on the Axiom board, please email Mr. Seng. It’s the kind of thing that looks good on a college transcript!
Students, if you feel that a career in architecture, engineering or construction work may be in your future, then the ACE is just for you. What is ACE? ACE mentoring program provides students with an opportunity to collaborate and learn from professionals in the field of design and construction. Experts will share advice and valuable skills about what’s needed to be successful. You will also complete an actual project and have the chance to make good contacts and earn scholarship money at the end of the process. If you are interested in learning more about ACE, then please see Mr. Chittissery (CM) in F332 or just email him. Also, those students who were in the program last year need to reconfirm their interest by signing up again. This year, due to the pandemic, the ACE club will meet virtually on TEAMS, except for field trips.
