Dare to Care drive runs Monday, October 7 – Thursday, October 31. The priority is cash donations and high nutrition canned foods. Checks may be made out to Trinity High School or Dare to Care. Collections done thru advising groups. All Donations are tax deductible.
Thursday will be a dress down day for a $1 donation to Operation Smile.
Junior Retreats start today! You will go in alphabetical order, so check the rosters posted on the cafeteria flatscreens, outside of Campus Ministry offices and in your theology classrooms. On your retreat day, report to the cafeteria instead of 1st block. You can dress down in jeans, tennis shoes, and a Trinity shirt, and dress for the weather—part of the day will be outside. You’ll be off campus all day and lunch is included. Details will also be sent to your school email the day before your retreat.

Those interested in joining Trinity’s League of Legends Esports team please come to an informational meeting in room F338, Mr. Sobczyk’s room on Thursday which will last until roughly 4 p.m. As of this year League of Legends is a KHSAA sponsored sport with teams signing up from around Kentucky to compete on the ‘rift’ for the first ever State Championship trophy. Whether you are a tank in the top lane, ready to rumble in the jungle, or you think you can ‘attack, damage and carry’ your way to a state title, please come to this meeting. Mr. Sobczyk is looking for gold or above ranked players, but of course all are welcome!

Any student interested in trying out should be at Ten Pin Lanes across from the Mall St Matthews today, Oct. 1, at 3:30. Tryouts will run until 5pm that day. Tryouts will continue tomorrow, Oct. 2, and Thursday. Anyone interested in joining the team needs to be at all three sessions. Don’t have a ball or shoes, no problem! Interested in trying out for basketball? If so, there will be Open Gyms on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons in Steinhauser Gym from 3 – 4 p.m. thru Oct. 8. Proper basketball attire and shoes must be worn.
