A Lenten invitation to walk with the Lord……the Cross during Lent on Friday afternoons in the Chapel starting @ 2pm. The Society has chosen 5 different versions of the walk, so each one promises to be a new experience. The devotion will finish by 2:30. Stations of the Cross are a traditional Catholic prayer that remembers Jesus’ way of the cross.  It can be a powerful prayer experience.  All are welcomed.  

Attention Beta Club and NHS members: A great service hour opportunity is ushering the spring musical, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels! Dates available: March 7, 9, 14, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24 and 25 @ 7 p.m. or March 12, 19 and 26 @ 2 p.m. Please come see Mrs. Durbin in academic services before school, during lunches and after school or email durbin@trinityrocks.com to sign up. You are allowed to sign up for 2 dates. Each performance is worth 3.5 hours!

Mandatory Usher meeting on FRIDAY @ 2 p.m. in the theatre for those that signed up to usher the musical.

Kentucky Driving School will be on campus the week of March 20-24, Monday-Thursday 3-5 p.m. and Friday 2-4 p.m. It will be held in the classrooms in SteinhauserGym.

YOU MUST HAVE A PERMIT IN ORDER TO TAKE THE CLASS!!!!!!!

Call KY Driving School at 456-5266 to sign up and pay for the classes. Space is limited!

Option 1: Students will participate in 10 hours of classroom instruction. Also included will be 4 hours behind the wheel, 2-2 hour private sessions with pick up and drop off at Trinity. (Note: The driving lessons are scheduled throughout the session, depending on whether or not the student already has his/her permit.) This course normally meets the requirements made by insurance companies for an auto insurance reduction.

Fee: $350.00

Option 2: Student will participate in 10 hours of classroom instruction. (No road instruction is included with this option) You will need to check with your insurance company to see if this course meets their requirements for an auto insurance reduction.

Fee: $50.00

The Inner Peace Club will meet TOMORROW during Advising.  This will be a Lenten meditation.  Those wishing to attend should make an e-hall pass to Schum and report to the Chapel that morning.  For more information, see Mr. Schum in F-245.

Anime Club meeting WEDNESDAY, MARCH 15, 3-4 p.m. in F133 with Ms. Moses.

Uno Club returns TOMORROW after school in F346. New wild cards are always welcome.

The next Culinary Club Meeting is scheduled for TUESDAY, March 14.  Meeting begins at 3:15 in the faculty dining room.

Reminder: The Ping Pong Club meets every 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month after school in the convocation hall.

Athletics:

Esports fans: are you ready for the event of the year?  Friday in Convocation Hall, Your Trinity Shamrocks are taking on St. X in the Rival cup.  This FREE event will have our state champion Smash Ultimate team going up against X’s number 2 team.  Our Rocket League teams will be facing off as well.  Join us Friday the 3rd and bring money for snack and drinks.  GO ROCKS!

Over the weekend in Winchester, KY, Head Coach Patrick Fleming and the Region Champion Wrestling Rocks earned a 5th place finish at the KHSAA  State Championship tournament. Trinity realized (1) individual state champion– Senior George Ferree (165), who has captured “back to back” state championships, and (3) individual state runner ups – Senior Bryant Beane (144), Junior Malachia Harris (150), and Junior Lane Kiser (190). The Rocks moved up from a 6th place finish at state last year and were the highest placing team in Metro Louisville.  

Head Coach Mike Szabo and Trinity Basketball will host a 7th Region tournament quarterfinal game on Tuesday night after capturing the 27th District Tournament championship last week.

Head Coach Jeff Smith and the Ice Hockey Rocks begin post season play this week at Iceland.

Head Coach Pete Schroeder and Trinity Lacrosse will begin 2023 regular season competition this coming weekend in Marshall Stadium.
