Office News

A note from Mr. Zoeller: congratulations to all who made honor roll in the 1st Quarter of this year. An astounding 66% of the school made honor roll, the second highest total in school history. Senior led the way, with 72% of seniors making honor roll. There were 252 of you who made Principal’s List set a school record. Mr. Zoeller is inviting all freshmen and sophomores for some delicious sheet cake during advising  tomorrow. Juniors and seniors are invited to for a slice or two next Tuesday, Nov. 13. Congratulations to all who earned honor roll in the first quarter. Keep up the hard work. Second quarter is shorter, so be sure stay aware of your assignments so you can earn this honor again for the 2nd Quarter.

All Seniors who are going on retreat #3 next week: there is a mandatory meeting tomorrow at 2:45, right after the senior dismissal bell, in the Chapel. This meeting will only last about 10 minutes and will tell you what to pack and other details for retreat. If you cannot attend, see Mrs. Emrich in Campus Ministry as soon as possible. Again, there is a meeting at 2:45 on Thursday in the Chapel for all seniors going on retreat.

Reminder to all who are interested, applications for the Governor’s Scholar Program are due Friday by 2:30 to Mr. Diehl in T125.

Dare to Care drive runs thru tomorrow. The priority is cash donations and high nutrition canned foods. Checks may be made out to Trinity High School or Dare to Care.  Collections done thru advising groups. All Donations are tax deductible.

Juniors—your retreat days continue over the next few weeks. Not sure when you go? Check the rosters posted outside Campus Ministry offices and in your theology classrooms. On your retreat day, report to the cafeteria instead of 1st block. You can dress down in jeans, a collared or Trinity shirt, and sneakers. You’ll be off campus all day and lunch is included. Details will also be sent to your school email the day before your retreat.

No Shave November Trivia Challenge tomorrow during advising.

  • All Advising groups will participate in No Shave November Trivia Challenge.


  • This fun and fast-paced Quizizz trivia game will challenge your Advising group to see how well they can recognize the bearded faces of famous individuals and Trinity faculty and staff members.


  • Your Advising group’s participation in the trivia challenge is crucial because your group’s final score will be added to the scores of the other groups in your House for a combined House total.


  • The House with the highest overall score will receive 20 points.


  • The top five Advising groups will receive pop tarts.

Video Game Tournament will be Thursday, November 15 at 3:15 in F342.

Principal’s Challenge: Rube Goldberg Machine Contest- Catch a Christmas Elf on Thursday, December 6 during advising in F133.

The Saints Peter and Paul Society will sponsor an afternoon with Mr. Budniak. He will discuss his journey through RCIA to full communion with the Catholic Church.  Join us in the Chapel @ 3:15 on Wednesday, November 14 to hear this rousing testimony. Everyone is invited.

Investment Club meeting will be on Thursday, November 15 after school in S252. Please contact Coach Schroeder with questions.

Guitar Club will meet today after school in the music room. Feel free to drop off your guitar in the morning if you like.

The Book Club will meet on Thursday, November 15 after school in the library.  Please make plans to attend.  For more information, see Mr. Schum in F245.

The Inner Peace Club will meet during Advising in the Chapel on Tuesday, November 13.

The Inner Peace club meets for Christo-centric guided meditation. Students wishing to attend must send an email to Mr. Schum @ schum@trinityrocks.com in order to create a flex time reservation.  For more information, see Mr. Schum in F245.

The Robotics Club meets every Monday after school in the Technology Center. New members are always welcome!

The Future Problem Solving team will practice next week in the library. Practices are Mondays and Wednesdays between 3-4 pm, and Thursdays during Advising. Members only need to attend one practice per week. No experience with FPS is necessary and new members are always welcome. This year’s District topic is Drones. To learn more about participating with the FPS team, contact Mr. Jones in the library.

If you are interested in studying Computer Science in college, you should mark your calendar for tomorrow.  Fern Creek High School hosts a CS College Day with Computer Science teaching staff from 15 to 20 area universities colleges.  It’s a great opportunity for you and maybe your parents to talk to Computer Science instructors for the schools – not just the admissions people.  See Mrs. Mason in the Technology Center for more info.


Trinity Football advanced to the 2nd round of the KHSAA 6A playoffs with a 69 – 0 victory over Muhlenberg County on Friday evening.
