The Louisville Bar Association’s 2018 Summer Law Institute (SLI): The SLI will be held at the University of Louisville Brandeis School of Law the week of Sunday, June 10 to Saturday, June 16. This is a 7- day residential program for high school students interested in the law and the legal profession. As in prior years, we hope to have field trips to the federal courthouse, the Judicial Center, and Bellarmine University. The daily agenda will include panel discussions with attorneys and judges, mock trial sessions, and topics taught by attorneys and law school professors. The SLI is funded in part by the Louisville Bar Foundation which allows us to keep the cost to students at $200, including housing and meals. A limited number of scholarships are available. The application deadline is Wednesday, April 11th and applications should be mailed to the Louisville Bar Association or scanned and emailed to email@example.com. Applications are available online or in academic services.
Mass will be offered in Advising this Monday, Feb. 12. Students can come to the Chapel between 2:10-2:15 and will get a pass to return to Advising when mass is over.
