At the conclusion of the 2018 Trinity Golf Season, Head Coach Mike Brumfield H’13 retired from high school coaching after committing the last six years to Trinity Golf.

To continue, and build upon, the success that Trinity has accomplished these last few years under Coach Brumfield, we are pleased to announce that James Chaney ’07 will be promoted to Trinity Head Golf Coach from his current role as Trinity Assistant Golf Coach.

James is a Class of 2007 Trinity alum who played golf for the Shamrocks all four years. He was a member of the 2003 Trinity state championship golf team and was also a 2-time Academic All State honoree. After his graduation from Trinity, James went on to play scholarship golf at Bellarmine University where he was Senior Captain in 2012. He earned both his BA and MBA from Bellarmine University. He has been a member of the Trinity Golf coaching staff for the last couple of years and was a member of the Ballard High School coaching staff before that.

Assistant Coach Alex Blair ’12 and Moderator Chris Toth ’06 will remain in their roles for the 2019 Trinity Golf season. We also anticipate adding another Assistant Coach in the coming days and weeks.

Please join us in congratulating James on this promotion.
