Golf Rocks – State Champions!

Congrats to Head Coach James Chaney ’07, his assistant coaches and the Trinity Golf Team.

Yesterday in Bowling Green, the Golf Rocks captured the 2020 KHSAA State Golf Championship, winning by 4 strokes over runner up Taylor County.  In 2019, Trinity finished as state runner up.  The 2020 state championship is the first for Trinity Golf since 2003. As part of the state experience, the team honored our late co-worker, friend, teacher and coach Steven Tompkins ’81, wearing the “ST” Shamrock decal on their golf caps.

Coach Chaney and the team will be recognized on Friday at halftime of Trinity’s varsity football game.
