On Wednesday, Jan. 16, Trinity Cross Country Head Coach Scott Holzknecht ’97 was named the Kentucky High School Boys Cross Country Coach of the Year by the USA Cross Country Coaches Association. This follows the same award provided to Scott a couple of months ago by the Kentucky Chapter of this Coaches Association. Fresh off the heels of a Cross-Country state championship, Scott and his Track-and-Field coaching staff are preparing for the 2019 spring Track season, where the Rocks will try and win back-to-back state Track championships.

And over the weekend at Valley High School, Head Coach Mike Szabo H’16 and the Basketball Rocks captured the 2019 Louisville Invitational Tournament (LIT) Championship, for the second consecutive year. The LIT has been around for 72 years. Trinity is now tied for second place all-time for schools winning the LIT with six championships, all of which have come since 2005, during the Szabo era of Trinity Basketball.

Go Rocks!
