Campers in Session 1 will learn the fundamentals of Public Forum Debate. They will study argumentation and persuasive techniques while learning how to prepare cases for competition. Any student attending this camp will also receive coaching from the team throughout the year if they choose to compete with the Wyatt Debate League. Students who attend Session 2 of Lincoln-Douglas Debate Camp will work on the basics of Lincoln-Douglas debate. Students are welcome to attend either or both camps if interested.
Grades 6 – 8 (Boys and Girls) & 9 (Incoming Trinity Students)
Session 1: Public Forum Debate Camp June 10-14 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Session 2: Lincoln-Douglas Debate Camp July 8-12 9 a.m.-12 p.m.
Each session is limited to the first 20 paid registrants.
Cost: $120 (includes supplies and camp T-shirt)
