Trinity Alumnus to Help in Centre College Presidential Search

Henry Snyder, Trinity Class of 2016, has had quite the senior year at Centre College. As a member of the Greek community, he sits on the executive committee of Centre’s chapter of Beta Theta Pi. Snyder also works closely with the Admission Office to provide campus tours and interview prospective students. However, Snyder can now add another item to his growing list of responsibilities. He has been appointed by the Presidential Search Committee, with the support of the Board of Trustees, to the search effort as an official voting member.

Snyder, who is also the current president of the Student Government Association, has formed a Student Guidance Committee. As Snyder says, “The Committee represents a broad range of Centre students from different socio-economic, religious, ethnic, racial, and cultural backgrounds. These students will be good advocates for numerous student interests from Greek Life and athletics to environmental concerns and Title IX matters.”

Snyder will meet with the Student Guidance Committee before every Presidential Search Committee meeting to seek their advice on agenda items. The Presidential Search Committee Chair Mark Nunnelly was quick to praise Snyder for his leadership, and he looks forward to the input that Snyder will bring to the Committee.

Way to go, Henry! Trinity Forever!
