The varsity Football Rocks bounced back in a big way Friday night as they moved to 1-0 in the district by defeating the Ballard Bruins 45-7. In wet and sloppy conditions, Kyle Feger led a dominant Rocks rushing attack, along with a stout defensive effort proving to be too much for the Bruins to handle. The JV Rocks fell to Ballard earlier in the week and the Freshman Rocks stormed back from a 14-0 deficit to defeat Ballard thanks to a 28-yard Kellan McLaughlin field goal in overtime.
Over the weekend in Bowling Green, Coach Chaney and the Golf Rocks finished as boys team state runner up, just 2 strokes off of the state championship score, and Shamrock Senior JM Butler finished as individual state runner up, also finishing just 2 strokes off the individual championship score. A summary of their special season shows:
- KHSAA Team State Runner Up
- KHSAA Individual State Runner Up
- Region Champions
- KHSGCA All State Champions
- Winners of (8) tournaments over the course of the 2019 season
