Last Week

Trinity Football

Coach Beatty and the Football Rocks captured the District Championship on Friday evening with a 44 – 0 win over Eastern. The victory ensures that Trinity will play at least the first 2 rounds of the playoffs in Marshall Stadium. The Shamrocks close out regular season play this week on Friday at Bowling Green. The JV Rocks game against Eastern was cancelled, while the Freshman Rocks came up a two-point conversion short of defeating Elder, dropping their final game of the season 14 – 13.

Trinity Cross-Country

Coach Holzknecht and the Cross Country Rocks won the Region 4 Championship on Saturday in Seneca Park with a dominating performance. Senior Nick Lewis captured first place for individuals as well. The team now advances to the KHSAA State Championship meet. The JV Cross-Country Rocks won the Region JV championship race at Seneca Park. Austin Montgomery finished first, breaking 17 minutes. Congrats, JV Rocks!

Trinity Ice Hockey

The Hockey Rocks had a strong weekend, winning two games in impressive fashion at Iceland. First, the Rocks defeated St. X 10 – 2, led by Parker Norman’s two goals, the Rocks used a balance attack to dominate the Tigers with nine different goal scorers. On Saturday, the Ice Rocks won over a strong Columbus, Indiana squad by a score of 4 – 3 (after trailing 2 – 0). Way to go, Rocks!

Trinity Basketball

Trinity Basketball hosted the annual Shooting for the Stars camp in Shamrock Hall on Saturday morning. This wonderful event sees the Rocks partner with St. Mary’s Center and the Sacred Heart basketball program to host a basketball camp for individuals with intellectual disabilities. A GreaT time was had by all!

Trinity Golf

Congrats to Shamrock Seniors JM Butler (1st Team) and Ballard Harris (2nd Team), who were named to the Kentucky All-State golf team!

Trinity Bowling

Your Bowling Rocks defeated Male on Tuesday 7-0 to start their season. Leading the Rocks were 200+ games by Kyle Donaldson, Will Epperson, Brent Padgett, Ryan Sheehy and Luke Sutton.

This Week

Trinity Football

Today, Monday, Oct. 28, your JV Football Rocks travel to Fern Creek to take on the Tigers at 5:30 p.m. in their final game of the season. The varsity Rocks travel to Bowling Green on Friday for a 6:30 p.m. (central time) kick-off.

Trinity Cross-Country

Saturday, your Cross-Country Rocks compete for a state championship at the Kentucky Horse Park. The race begins at 2:15 p.m. Go Rocks, Take State!

Trinity Ice Hockey

The Ice Rocks will host LaSalle (OH) at Iceland at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Trinity Bowling

Your Bowling Rocks will take on Brown and Atherton on Tuesday at Executive Strike and Spare at 4 p.m. Saturday, the Rocks compete in the St. X Classic at Ken Bowl starting at 8 a.m.
