Last Week

Trinity Basketball The Basketball Rocks started the week on the road at Bryan Station in Lexington. Behind Zach Stahlman’s 20 points and 12 rebounds, the varsity Rocks were victorious 66-51. The freshman and JV Rocks completed the sweep of a tough Bryan Station team. Friday night the Rocks hosted the Blue Devils from Henry Clay. Freshman and JV opened the night in victorious fashion. The varsity Rocks jumped out to an early lead before Henry Clay used a big third quarter run to take the lead. The Rocks battled back in the fourth quarter, cutting the Blue Devils’ lead to three before eventually falling 61-51. P.S – Two Trinity Shamrocks were named to the prestigious LIT All-Tournament Team last Saturday, Dec. 18. A big congratulations are in order for sophomore Miles Franklin and junior Zach Stahlman! Trinity Wrestling The JV Rocks rolled in the JV Tournament last week. Twelve total wrestlers qualified for JV State! Trinity Bowling The Bowling Rocks advanced to the regional semifinal on Saturday before bowing out to the Ballard Bruins. Congrats on a GreaT season, Trinity Bowlers! Trinity Hockey The Hockey Rocks started Saturday with a very nice win on the road against Evansville 6-1. George Katchak led the Rocks with two goals and Warren Lipinski had a strong effort in net. On Sunday, the Rocks ran into a hot goalkeeper for Owensboro and lost 7-1.

This Week

Trinity Basketball The Basketball Rocks start a busy week Tuesday at home against district foe Atherton. Come early and watch the Freshman Rocks at 4:30, JV follows at 6 and varsity at 7:30! Friday the Rocks take their show on the road to Madison Central. Game times are 4:30, 6, and varsity at 7:30. The Rocks turn around and host Woodford County on Saturday. Game times are bumped up half an hour. Freshman at 4, JV at 5:30 and varsity at 7 p.m. Trinity Archery The Archery Rocks will be in action this Friday and Saturday at St. Michael for the Winter Challenge. Trinity Ice Hockey Saturday the Ice Hockey Rocks will be on the road at Columbus, IN. Game time is 8 p.m. Trinity Wrestling The Wrestling Rocks are in action Friday and Saturday. Friday the Rocks host the Tigers from St. X at 5:30 p.m. Saturday, the JV Rocks will be competing in the JV State Tournament at Moore High School starting at 8:30 a.m. Trinity Swimming The Swim Rocks continue to prepare for the region tournament next week.
