Last Week

Trinity Football

In front of a Rockin’ student section featuring a beach theme to beat the heat, the varsity Football Rocks stayed unbeaten in impressive fashion, defeating the visiting Warriors from Waubonsie Valley (IL) 60-6. The JV Rocks were open this weekend. The Freshman Rocks scored first at Centerville (OH), but couldn’t hang on as they were defeated 28-7 on the road.

Trinity Cross Country

The Cross Country Rocks had a GreaT weekend as they finished first-place in the Franklin County Invitational! Both varsity and JV finished as champions.

Trinity Soccer

The varsity Soccer Rocks started the week strong, defeating Male 3-2. The varsity Rocks also drew with a very good Guerin Catholic team 2-2. The JV Rocks also started the week on a high note, defeating Male 1-0, and stayed unbeaten for the week, defeating Guerin Catholic 1-0. The freshman Rocks shut out Henry County 5-0.

Trinity Golf

The Golf Rocks placed second in the Meade County Invitational. The runner-up finish was led by freshman Michael Long’s third-place individual finish!

Trinity Ice Hockey

The Hockey Rocks started their season by hosting Cincinnati Moeller at Iceland. The Rocks dropped two tough games 4-1 and 4-3.

Trinity Football

The varsity Football Rocks travel to Male this Friday for a highly-anticipated game between the #1 and #2-ranked teams in the state of Kentucky. Kick-off will be at 7 p.m. Pre-sale tickets are on sale this week in Trinity’s Athletics Office between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

The JV Rocks host Male today, Sept. 16, at 5:30 p.m. and the Freshman Rocks will host Male Thursday, Sept. 19, at 5:30 p.m.

Trinity Cross Country

The Cross Country Rocks start the week Tuesday with the Louisville JV Meet at Tom Sawyer Park at 5 p.m. Friday evening and Saturday morning Trinity will host the Trinity Invitational at Tom Sawyer Park.

Trinity Soccer

The Soccer Rocks start the week Tuesday with a varsity only game against Seneca on the road at 7:15 p.m. Wednesday, the Freshman Rocks take on St. X at 4:30 p.m. on the road. Thursday, the Rocks have a varsity/JV double-header at Oldham County starting at 6 p.m. Saturday, the Rocks host a triple-header freshman/JV/varsity against Cincinnati Moeller starting at 1 p.m.

Trinity Golf

The Golf Rocks start the week against St. X at Long Run Golf Course. Tuesday, the Rocks take on Christian Academy at Seneca Golf Course, Wednesday, the Rocks play Male at Seneca Golf Course, Thursday the Bruins from Ballard travel to Long Run to take on our Rocks, and Saturday, the Rocks will be in action at the Bullitt East Invitational and the All State Invitational at UK.

Trinity Ice Hockey

The Ice Hockey Rocks travel to Nashville to take on Montgomery Bell Academy at 12:45 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.
