Trinity Football

The varsity Football Rocks capped off another fun-filled Pride Week with a convincing 35-3 victory over the St. X Tigers at Cardinal Stadium! The win moves the Rocks to 5-1 with a road trip to Indianapolis Cathedral upcoming.

Thanks to Jason Frakes and the Louisville Courier Journal for the outstanding coverage that you can check out here!

The JV Rocks also defeated St. X 14-7, with an Evan Elder interception sealing the deal. The Freshman Football Rocks fell to the Tigers on the road.

Trinity Soccer

The Soccer Rocks started the week with a JV game at Oldham County High School. The Rocks drew with the Colonels 1-1, before a triple-header with the Tigers from St. X at Trinity’s Marshall Stadium. The Freshman Soccer Rocks fell to the Tigers 2-1 in a tightly-contested game. The JV Rocks also fell to the Tigers 1-0 with St. X scoring an early winner and hanging on. The varsity game was close throughout as both teams failed to capitalize on great opportunities inside of the scoring area before St. X scored a late winner on a loose ball inside of the box. The Tigers hung on for the 1-0 victory. The JV Rocks kept the action going into the weekend, advancing all the way to the finals of the Oldham County JV tournament before falling to Dunbar in PK’s.
