Trinity Baseball Rocks Advance to the State Quarterfinals

Over the weekend, the Trinity Baseball Rocks ran their winning streak to 12 games in a row by defeating North Oldham 8-3 in a KHSAA Semi State contest. Junior Davis Crane led the way offensively, going 2 for 4 with a home run, a double, and four RBIs. Sophomore Nick Thompson collected the save, striking out six of the eight batters that he faced in 2 1/3 innings of relief.

With the win, the Baseball Rocks move to 34 – 5 and advance to the KHSAA State Baseball Tournament Quarterfinal Round, where only eight schools remain. Trinity will face Hazard on Thursday evening at 8:30 p.m. in Lexington at Whitaker Bank Ballpark.
