Trinity Baseball Rocks Take Home Regional Crown!

On Tuesday night, the Trinity Baseball Rocks defeated St. X 8-4 to earn the Seventh Region Championship. The Rocks got six strong innings from sophomore Nick Thompson, who allowed just four hits. Trinity also stayed hot at the plate with another balanced effort. As a team, the Rocks pounded out two home runs, a triple and four doubles. The result was the second regional title in the last three years for Trinity Baseball!

The Rocks were also well represented on the Seventh Region All-Tournament Team. Daylen Lile, Braden Barry, Kaelan Racculia and Nick Thompson were all selected from Trinity.

With the win, Trinity will face the Eighth Region champion North Oldham Mustangs in a KHSAA semistate game. That game will be played Saturday, June 1, at 7 p.m. at Eastern High School. Look for more information on this game to follow.
