Trinity Baseball Rocks Win the Seventh Region, Esports and Track & Field Continue Postseason Success

Although the school year has ended, we continue to have a few teams involved in post season competition………

Coach Rick Arnold and the Baseball Rocks have had a busy week.  First, they captured the 27th District Tournament, followed by a successful run through the 7th Region Tournament.  The region championship game win came last night at UL’s Patterson Stadium as Trinity defeated St. X by a score of 3 – 2. Trinity is “back to back” 7th Region Champions, having won the region in 2019 as well (no season in 2020 due to COVID).

The Rocks move on to the KHSAA Semi State round as shown below:

          Saturday               vs DeSales (6th Region Champs)           at Elizabethtown High School                   1 pm


Fresh off their 1st ever KHSAA State Championship, Coach Ben Sobczyk and Trinity Esports are competing this week in the National PlayVS Rocket League Cup. So far, the Rocks have defeated top school teams from Georgia and New Mexico.

Track and Field

Coach Michael Thompson and the Trinity Track and Field team qualified (17) student athletes in (9) different events for the KHSAA State Championship meet this coming Saturday at the University of Kentucky.
