Congratulations to Matthew Hubbuch ’19 as he was recently notified he notched a perfect 36 on the ACT this past spring.
Matthew, a member of Trinity’s Advanced Program, came to Trinity from St. Gabriel School in Louisville and has immersed himself in the Trinity experience throughout his time here so far.
Trinity’s Advanced Program Counselor Dr. Aaron Striegel H’16 had this to say about Matthew,
“Matthew Hubbuch reminds me of the phrase, “Still waters run deep.” On the surface, Matthew appears to be quiet and reserved. However, he uses his sharp wit and dry sense of humor to put other people around him at ease. Matthew isn’t flashy, but he has a comfort level concerning himself that is both refreshing and modest. Matthew is very systematic in his academic work; combining his love of learning with patience and enthusiasm. He has the rare ability to grasp the subject in question and he knows how to ask pointed questions that hit at the heart of the academic pursuit.
Matthew has a love for research especially in the computer science field. He’s considering a career as a computer engineer because of his love for math and science. His perfect score of a 36 on his ACT test is a testament to Matthew’s intelligence, hard work and determination to get the most out of his abilities.”
Congratulations, Matthew! We are PROUD of you!
