Wrestling Rocks Finish Top-4 at KHSAA State Tournament

A shout out to Trinity Wrestling Head Coach Patrick Fleming and the Wrestling Rocks.

Over the weekend at the KHSAA State Championship Wrestling Tournament, Trinity finished in 4th place, the highest finish by any school in the Metro Louisville area. Coach Fleming has the program on a steady climb, finishing 26th at state in 2019, 6th at state in 2020 and 4th in state in 2021. Special recognition to Trinity Senior Ty Lehman who finished 1st in 2020 and 3rd in 2021, and to Sophomore George Ferree for a state runner up finish in 2021. 

The team has many talented underclassman (5 of our 8 state qualifiers were freshman or sophomores).  Trinity Wrestling is on the move.  Results at state were:

126: George Ferree, 2nd

132: Ayden Lehman, 8th

138: Bryant Beane, 3rd

152: Ty Lehman, 3rd

170: Lane Kiser, 3rd

220: Ryan Martin, 7th

285: LaQuann “Q” Williams, 8th
