The Culinary Club provides students the opportunity to learn both basic cooking skills and specific cooking styles and techniques from a trained chef.
Dr. Debbie Heaverin is the official club moderator, but FLIK Chef Lee Ashbrook and Chef Jeremy Williamson help lead the club working in the school kitchen. Club members meet after school for a little over two hours. The chefs teach members how to chop vegetables and fruits, sauté, fry and bake various meats and vegetable, and plate and serve delicious meals.
Whether you have aspirations of being a professional chef or just want to learn how to cook, the Culinary Club is for you.
