Work Study Program
Trinity offers a popular work-study program to all students. After working 80 hours, either after school or during the summer, the student earns a tuition credit. Since the program is vital to the operation of the school, each student must approach work-study as he would having a job. Being on time and working efficiently each day is expected.
The work-study program accommodates family situations as explained on the application. Once a student is accepted into the program, with the agreed-upon accommodations, the student must finish the required 80 hours to earn the tuition credit. No partial credit is given for working less than 80 hours.
Work-study students will do supervised cleaning, occasional set-up, and light landscape maintenance. No special technical skills are required. However, the ability to follow directions and a willingness to give honest effort are required.
During the school year, work-study hours are Monday-Thursday from 3-5 p.m. and on Friday from 2-4 p.m. Summer work-study hours are in four hour blocks, in the morning or the afternoon. Work study is a year-round program, starting June through May each school year.
You will be contacted by phone or email if your son is selected for work-study. If you do not accept the opportunity when contacted, you may lose the opportunity for that year. Each year you must submit a new application in order to participate in this program.
