Young Alumni Shamrock Society
The next Young Alumni Shamrock Society event will be held on Thursday, November 19, from 6-7 p.m.
Join us for a virtual tour of the Lynn Family Stadium, home of Louisville City FC. Trinity alum and Sr. Director of PR & Communications Jonathan Lintner ’08 will be our digital host. We will also have Q & A with current Louisville City FC goalkeeper and Trinity alum Chris Hubbard ’13.
The support of all alumni is essential to further the brotherhood of the school. As young alumni—those who have graduated in the last 15 years—you represent the future of Trinity. The legacy of Trinity lives through you.
Alumni who graduated between 2005 and 2020 are invited to join an influential group of young, vibrant leaders who are helping to provide the Trinity experience to future generations of Shamrocks. This group is called the Young Alumni Shamrock Society.
Alumni that make an annual gift of $250 prior to or during their 15-year reunion will be included in this important giving society.
In addition to supporting Trinity, the YASS benefits our brother alumni. We will have quarterly events each year that provide opportunities for networking and socializing. Unfortunately, we had to cancel planned events due to the COVID-19 pandemic. These events included an after-work gathering at Flanagan’s, which is owned by Trinity alum Drew Borgmann ’07, and a group event at a Louisville City FC soccer match.
Also, we will have an annual event featuring a prominent alum to speak to the YASS about career development, leadership, building relationships, networking and other business-related topics. In January 2020, we held the first event of this kind at Merle’s downtown, which is owned by Trinity alum Tony Palombino ’86. University of Louisville Athletic Director and Trinity alum Vince Tyra ’84 joined us for the evening to talk about his business career prior to U of L and his leadership philosophy. The event was a great success, with more than 45 young alumni in attendance.
Members of the Young Alumni Shamrock Society will receive the following benefits:
- A Young Alumni Shamrock Society Lapel pin
- Invitations to young alumni related events
- Recognition in The Leader magazine and Annual Report
- Invitation to Trinity’s Opening Mass in August
- Two complimentary tickets to the 1953 Society Dinner held during Pride Week.
