Leader Shamrock

Junior Class Mass, Wednesday, May 10 at 7 p.m. in Steinhauser Gym.

  • Mass will include the inauguration of newly elected class officers, recognition of House Captains, and serves as a formal rite of passage into the senior year.
  • This is not a “ring ceremony” as commonly held at many high schools, though senior rings will be blessed and then distributed in the cafeteria during a reception after the Mass.
  • If your son has a different ring—inherited from a relative or a championship ring for example—and would like it blessed, he can bring it to Campus Ministry (T212) in a small box or bag, marked with his name, and then retrieve it after Mass.
  • All juniors and their parents are invited and expected to attend, even if they did not order a ring. Other family members are also welcome to come.
  • Juniors should wear a sport coat and tie and arrive by 6:45 p.m. They will sit together as a class in chairs on the gym floor, with families and visitors in the stands.
  • A limited number of handicap-accessible seats will be available and must be reserved. Contact Joy Durbin at 502-736-2112 or durbin@trinityrocks.com by noon on May 10. People using these seats can be dropped off at Steinhauser Gym and should claim the seats by 6:45 p.m. Reserved seats will be released on a first-come, first-served basis at 6:50 p.m.
  • Parking: The lot behind Steinhauser Gym is best for those with disabilities but will fill quickly. There are several campus parking lots on Sherrin Ave., and the lot at CrossRoads Church (across Shelbyville Road) will be open. Do not park in lots on St. Matthews Ave., including MorrisPointe and next to Highland Morning. Your car will be towed.
  • Contact Mrs. Mary Emrich, Campus Minister, emrich@trinityrocks.com if you have questions.
