The Tyler Gerth Art Gala and Silent Auction will occur on Sat., March 8 from 7 - 10 p.m. Proceeds benefit Trinity students who receive the Building Equal Bridges Memorial Scholarship, honoring Tyler Gerth, a 2011 Trinity graduate who was tragically lost while documenting peaceful protests.
Wrapped in God's Warmth is a charity started by a current Mercy senior who makes and distributes care packages those in need. Kentucky Refugee Ministries is an organization that helps to place refugees to our area. Trinity will be hosting a drive for both agencies until January 24. Wrapped in God's Warmth collects blankets, scarves, hats, gloves, shelf stable snacks, bottled water, and flashlights. Items can be new or gently used. These are assembled into care packages and passed out to those in need. Kentucky Refugee Ministries is hosting a coat drive of new and gently used coats of all sizes and warmth. These will be given to refugee families arriving in Louisville. Donations can be dropped off at the rotunda or outside T215.
This week’s Senior Retreat is cancelled due to the severe weather. Seniors who were scheduled to attend should check their school email for instructions from Mrs. Emrich about how to reschedule for an upcoming Retreat. Questions? It's an opportunity for alumni to slow down from their busy schedules, hear gifted speakers, and simply sit with God in prayer. Trinity Senior, Brayden Overberg '25, is hosting a Christmas waste collection as part of his AP Environmental Science project. He is collecting wrapping paper, newspaper, greeting cards, tissue paper, bubble wrap, bows, ribbon, packing peanuts, Styrofoam, cardboard boxes, rope lights, and just about anything else Christmas related. Anything with glitter and certain dyes aren't good for recycling and shouldn't just be thrown away. Save these items and bring them to Shamrock Gym on Friday, December 27, from 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for collection and proper disposal.
