  • Trinity won its 28th state championship with the win over Bryan Station. 
    • Trinity has won its last nine appearances in the state finals and 16 of its last 17. 
      • During the nine game winning streak in the state finals, Trinity has won each of those games by 21 points or more. 
    • Trinity is 28-4 all-time in the state championship game. 
    • Trinity made its 32nd all-time appearance in the state championship game. 
    • Trinity made its 12th all-time appearance in the Class AAAAAA finals, winning in 11 of its previous 12 appearances in the Class AAAAAA title game. 
    • The Shamrocks, who made the move to Class AAAAAA in 2007, won 14 titles as a member of Class AAAA in their 32 years in such classification. Prior to the creation of Class AAAA, the Shamrocks won three titles as a member of Class AAA.
  • Trinity finished the season with a 12-3 record, its most wins in a season since winning 13 in 2019.
  • Trinity head coach Jay Cobb made his first state finals appearance at Trinity. 
  • Trinity won its final 10 games of the season, its longest winning streak since an 18-game streak during the 2019 and 2020 seasons. The current streak of 10 games is the longest winning streak of the Cobb era. 
  • Trinity overcame an 11-point deficit in the game, marking the largest deficit overcome in a state finals game for Trinity since 1989 when it overcame a 14-point deficit against Warren Central to win the state title. 
    • It marked the 9th time since the 1988 state finals that Trinity had overcome a deficit in a state finals to win the championship. 
    • The 11-point deficit was the largest for Trinity in a state finals game since 2009.
    • Trinity gave up multiple touchdowns in the first quarter of a state finals game for the first time since 2001. 
    • Trinity trailed by double-digits in the first quarter of a state finals game for the first time since 2000 when it trailed 14-3 against Bryan Station.  
  • Trinity’s 41 points in the state finals were its most in a championship game since scoring 56 in the 2016 finals. 
  • Trinity's four rushing touchdowns were the most for Trinity in a state finals game since 2016 vs. Lafayette (4). 
  • Trinity's 249 rushing yards were the most for Trinity in a state finals game since rushing for 259 yards vs. Lafayette in 2016. 
  • Trinity won a state title game for the third consecutive time without throwing for 200 yards. 
  • Trinity's 25 first downs were the most for Trinity in a state finals game among records available since 2000. 
  • Trinity has now thrown a touchdown pass in 17 straight state finals appearances. 
  • Trinity has run for three touchdowns or more in six of its last eight state finals appearances.
