Grayson Roberts

Congratulations to Trinity’s Grayson Roberts ’24 who obtained his Private Pilot’s License! Grayson, a senior in Patrick House, has been involved with cross country, track, swimming and barbell club over the course of his four-year Trinity career.

According to Grayson, the journey was a challenging one. “I became interested in aviation through a program called Civil Air Patrol. I later joined Flight Club 502 where I began my pursuit for a Private Pilot’s License. It took me around two years to obtain and it was very challenging at times with all the topics, tests, and check rides required. It took a lot of studying and persistence, but it was an extremely rewarding experience.”

Grayson wants to continue his pursuit of aviation once he graduates from Trinity. “I would love to attend the United States Air Force Academy and become a fighter pilot for the United States Air Force. I’ve also been accepted to Eastern Kentucky’s flight program to continue my career in flight.”

Congratulations and best of luck in the future, Grayson. Trinity is proud of you!
