The Steven Tompkins '81 Legacy Award is presented to the Trinity senior student athlete who best demonstrates faith, character, an appreciation for Trinity, a commitment to teammates before himself, and a positive outlook on life.
Whether it was quoting movie lines or song lyrics, Steven could make people laugh and brighten someone's day in an instant. He was a man of great faith who lived his faith daily. He served as the school's first Sports Ministry Director. He instilled a sense of integrity and honor, both as a head golf and baseball coach and through his work as a multi-sport official. He was loyal to his family and friends. He bled green and served the Trinity community faithfully.
