In honor of the 25th anniversary, Trinity aimed to preserve the legacy and impact of all those affected by hosting moments of silence, video tributes on our Trinity Television News (TTV) broadcast, written testimonials, thoughtful prayers, flying the American flags at half mast, and a special flyover performed by Smoke on Aviation before our home varsity football game. During the game, all of the active and retired first responders, military personnel - who have dedicated their lives to serving and protecting our communities and country - were acknowledged and celebrated.

As we look back on the 25th anniversary of the events on September 11, 2001, Trinity also remembers Ronald Gamboa, Class of 1986, who was a passenger on United Flight 175, one of the planes, that struck the Twin Towers. In the days that followed, a memorial grew at the Rock outside Steinhauser Gymnasium — flowers, flags, students, and neighbors kneeling in prayer. Trinity held a memorial Mass for the Gamboas in Convocation Hall with more than 400 people present, including his parents. Fr. Zettel presided.
