Saturday, September 19, the Trinity Cross Country Rocks and Sacred Heart hosted the annual Trinity Invitational / Valkyrie Invitational at E.P. “Tom” Sawyer State Park. The event brings together many of the top high school cross-country programs from Kentucky and surrounding states.

Trinity Race Results

• Seeded Race: 4th overall — 1st among Kentucky teams

• Junior/Senior Race: 1st place

• Freshman/Sophomore Race: 1st place

While our runners had a great day on the course, a special thanks goes to all those who helped to make this event a success. A tremendous amount of work goes into hosting an event of this size.

Led by Associate AD Jimmy Wadell, Head Cross Country Coach Thomas Cave, and committee members from Trinity and Sacred Heart, the planning for this event takes place year-round, with the committee meeting monthly to coordinate the countless details involved.

It’s a massive undertaking, and we're grateful for the leadership of Jimmy, Thomas, our committee members, athletic trainers, volunteers, and everyone else who helped make Saturday a success. They make a very complicated event look easy.
