Trinity's Culinary Club celebrated a successful year by serving a delicious, five-course meal for their families. Special thanks to Mike Strickland and Christine Baltas of FLIK, along with faculty mentors Rachel Hall and Kathy Kiefer, for their work with these students. Yet another example of how each student can find their place, find their GREATNESS at Trinity!
Students in Mr. Kraus’ Entrepreneurship class pitched business plans to a guest panel comprised of local professionals. The proposals were a culmination of work each team completed throughout the semester as they developed a variety of creative plans. This class is an example of the wide range of electives offered to our students in Block Scheduling. A special thanks to those who volunteered to serve on the guest panel!

The Trinity Spring Concerts will be held May 10 at 7 p.m. and May 12 at 3 p.m. in the Auditorium. This year’s theme will feature “Movies, Games, and TV: Music from our Screens”! No ticket is required to attend these concerts, they are FREE AND OPEN TO THE PUBLIC. Come out and support our talented Rocks on stage!
As the Class of 2024 nears Graduation Weekend, we are looking forward to celebrating them over the next couple of weeks! The Class of 2024 has been accepted to 140 colleges and universities from the Naval Academy to Hawaii Pacific. Trinity Forever!
Thursday, May 9, will be a $1 Dress Down Day benefitting WaterStep. WaterStep not only collects shoes but sells those shoes and uses the funds to purchase water filtration units for developing communities. Students can dress down for $1, or more, in jeans/khakis, a Trinity shirt/jacket/hoodie, and athletic/dress shoes. T-shirts must be tucked in. Seniors can wear clothing from the college they are attending next year. Money will be collected during advising.

Congratulations to Trinity’s Class of 2025, Ben Scobee, who earned the rank of Eagle Scout! Ben is a member of Troop 109 at St. Francis in the Fields. For his Eagle Scout project, Ben rebuilt an existing walkway and added a new section at the Earth and Spirit Center.
At Trinity, Ben is a member of the Advanced Program, serves as the Director of Recruitment within Trinity’s Department of Theatre Arts, and is a Romero House Representative. Congratulations, Ben!
Freshmen and sophomores gathered in Steinhauser Gym to celebrate Mass. During this special moment in their formation of faith and character, students heard an important message from Fr. Zettel '58, as well as Manny Summers-Bates '24, who shared words of encouragement and support to underclassmen. We look forward to watching these classes BE GREAT in the coming years! Coach Dale Helfrich recently took his Intro to Sports Admin class to Soccer Holdings, LLC to learn a bit more about the business of sports. They went on a tour of their training facility and met several executive members from the staff of Louisville City FC. The class also toured Lynn Family Stadium to learn even more about the business from the game management side. We appreciate the team at Soccer Holdings for welcoming the class and sharing their knowledge and experience.
Trinity’s annual Senior Field Day is Wednesday, May 1! It’s a fun day to spend with classmates before the end of the year, final exams, etc. You will attend first block and part of second block. At 10:45 seniors will be called to Marshall Stadium! Weather permitting, at 11:00 a.m. until around 2:30 p.m., you will have the opportunity to cookout, play Corn Hole, play ultimate frisbee, shoot basketball, watch a movie, listen to/play some music, or just chill out and spend some good time with your Trinity classmates. In the event of rain, lunch would be moved into the cafeteria, and Marshall Stadium would not be an option.

Congratulations to Trinity junior, Brayden Sills, for scoring a composite 36 on his ACT! With Brayden's perfect score, Trinity students have now earned 11 perfect composite ACT scores since the Class of 2019. A composite score represents the average of four subject scores from one ACT attempt. We are so proud of you, Brayden!
The Junior Formal will take place on Saturday, May 11 from 8 to 11 p.m. in Shamrock Gym. Tickets for the dance are $40 per couple or $20 for an individual ticket. Tickets will be on sale from Monday, April 29 through Friday, May 10. Tickets can be purchased in the Academic Services Office during second or third lunches or after school. Attire is semi-formal. Gentlemen should wear a sports coat, dress shirt, tie, khakis and dress shoes. Ladies should wear a semi-formal dress. Contact Mr. Klein (klein@trinityrocks.com) if you have any questions.

As part of our holistic approach to education, students attend Character Talks focused on being a man of faith and character. On April 22, seniors heard from alumnus Daniel McCarthy '15 who shared insight about transitioning into college and a career while upholding the ideals he learned at Trinity. The Key Club hosted a charity car show at Trinity raising money for the Franciscan Kitchen and Hope Scarves. With over 100 cars on display, we loved seeing everybody who came out to support a great cause! Thank you to those who helped make this a GreaT event!
Trinity will assist American Red Cross by holding their second blood drive of the year in Shamrock Hall on Wed. Apr. 17 from 8:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Students 16 years of age or older are eligible to donate. Parents and other family members are welcome to participate.
