Trinity will have a Teams Day on October 9, a Green Day.
There will be no in-person classes that day. All of our students' Green Day classes will be on Microsoft Teams.
Our policy states, "If an extended online learning should become necessary during a school year, Trinity will announce and begin 'in class meetings' through Microsoft Teams."
We are not changing our usual snow day procedure of posting assignments on Rockspace, but we do want to be prepared if school is closed for an extended period of time. October 9 is our "practice day." Students will join their classes virtually from home.
Students will receive information about accessing their classes on Teams next week during TTV.
Class “meeting” times:
1st Period: 9 – 9:45 a.m.
2nd Period: 10 – 10:45 a.m.
3rd Period: 11 – 11:45 a.m.
Lunch break
4th Period: 12:30 – 1:15 p.m.
Attendance will be taken in every class. In addition, most teachers will have assignments due during the meeting. Parents should email Renee Hook (hook@trinityrocks.com) if their son will be absent for any classes.
Students are expected to have their cameras on and microphones working. They should join class sitting at a table or desk.
Dress code requirements are relaxed, but students are expected to be wearing collared shirts and pants. Shirts must not promote anything that conflicts with Trinity's values.
Students who disrupt class will face discipline consequences upon return to school.
