Congratulations to Class of 2023 member Dillon McKinney! Dillon has been awarded two scholarships since graduation in May.
Dillon was awarded the Seth R. and Corrine H. Brooks Memorial Scholarship in June. This is one of only two scholarships awarded by the Beta Theta Pi Foundation which awards two scholarships each year that provide tuition assistance to sons or daughters of members of Beta Theta Pi.
More recently, Dillon was awarded one of only six Kentucky National Guard Leader Development Foundation scholarships this year. This scholarship is open to dependent children of an active member serving honorably in the Kentucky National Guard.
The amount of these scholarships has been added to the nearly $40 million in merit scholarships awarded to the GreaT Class of 2023.

The Class of 2027 Academic Convocation is tomorrow night, Thursday, Aug. 17 at 7 p.m.! This special event in Steinhauser Gym will mark our Class of 2027's commitment to academic excellence in the classroom. Students should wear a shirt and tie and a dress coat is preferred. Students should plan on reporting to the Alumni Hall cafeteria by 6:45 p.m.
Parents are encouraged to attend. Dress code is business casual. Please meet in Steinhauser Gym before 7 p.m.
This will serve as a great way to kick off the school year!

Students needing to purchase textbooks should go to bit.ly/TrinityTextbooks and complete the form. You can pick up and pay for your textbooks in the library on the school day AFTER completing the form.
We are out of planners. More have been ordered, and we will let students know when they have arrived and can be purchased.

We have truly enjoyed having all our incoming and transfer students on campus for New Student Day. Tomorrow, Aug. 10, we will welcome all our students back to campus for their first day of school. Students will follow a GREEN DAY schedule with classes starting at 8 a.m. and dismissal occurring at 2:50 p.m. A reminder, Alumni Hall (cafeteria) opens at 7 a.m. and stays open after school until 4:30 p.m. For more information about the daily schedule and more, please visit the ACADEMICS page of our website.
A reminder Trinity does not have an official drop off line for students. We encourage parents to drop off students in any of our parking lots or nearby areas. Students will get into school more quickly using sidewalks or crosswalks from several places instead of one. The same goes for afternoon pickup. Please never drop off students on roadways as this is dangerous and backs up traffic.
Go Rocks!

Happy Monday, Rocks! Here is the week ahead at Trinity High School.
